Brisbane fullback Josh Hoffman is unwilling to face up to the prospect he has played his last game for the Broncos after suffering a suspected broken right leg during the second half of the loss to South Sydney last night.
Hoffman, 26, is contracted to the Brisbane Broncos until the end of 2015. Rival clubs will be able to negotiate with Hoffman from November 1.
However his place in the squad next year is uncertain with Anthony Milford on his way to Red Hill and persistent rumours that Darius Boyd will follow incoming coach Wayne Bennett back to Queensland.
When asked if he might have played his last game for the club Hoffman said: “I know this isn’t the end of me.”
“I want to be a Bronco.”
