Justin Hodges
Three year deal

Justin Hodges is set to see out his career at the Brisbane Broncos after putting pen to a new contract with the NRL club today.

As revealed by The Courier-Mail last month, Hodges will earn in the vicinity of $350,000 a season after signing a three-year deal that will see him stay at the Broncos until the end of the 2014 season.

Hodges’ career was at the crossroads just over a year ago when he snapped his achilles tendon and wiped out his 2010 campaign.

But he has bounced back brilliantly this season – earning selection in Australia’s Test team for last Friday night’s win over New Zealand – and the Broncos want the Maroons centre to mentor the next generation of backline stars headed by Jharal Yow Yeh, Gerard Beale, Jack Reed and Dale Copley.
