Four weeks of rugby league warfare finally ended last night when premier coach Des Hasler called a truce with the Manly Sea Eagles and announced his immediate switch to the Bulldogs as head coach.
Hasler will start at the Bulldogs tomorrow over the top of Jim Dymock, ending a bitter dispute with the club he guided to three grand finals in five years.
He also called off threats to take legal action following his dismissal on Friday afternoon.
“I am looking forward to integrating immediately into the Bulldogs’ pre-season plans and working with the organisation. I wish the Manly players and Geoff Toovey all the best with 2012 and beyond.”
Earlier yesterday, coach-in-limbo Jim Dymock turned up for work as per usual at 9am sharp.
