Clinton Gutherson

Foxsports is reporting that Clinton Gutherson is set to join the Parramatta Eels on two-year deal in 2016 after salary cap pressures have forced him out of Manly.

Gutherson re-signed with the Sea Eagles earlier this year on a new two-year deal, alongside brothers Jake and Tom Trbojevic. A local junior, it’s understood that salary cap pressure at the Manly club has given rise to the Gutherson opting to follow teammate Kieran Foran to the Eels in 2016.

21-year old Gutherson has played 5 NRL games, scoring 4 tries after making his debut in Round 26, 2013.

Gutherson looked set for a big season this year with the Sea Eagles before he suffered a torn ACL in the opening round, ending his season before it really started.
