Off contract Knights skipper Kurt Gidley says he will have “honest” discussions with club management before making a call on his future beyond 2015.

The 32-year-old said he would never play against the Knights in the NRL, but could consider playing in the Super League.

Gidley said he will aim to settle his future midway through the season once he has talks with his brother and Knights CEO Matt Gidley, director of football Michael Hagan and coach Rick Stone.

“I’ll have an honest talk with those three, when the time is right, we’ll talk about it,’’ Gidley said.
