Frank Puletua retires

One of the nice guys in rugby league has blown full time on his career with the announcement of his retirement. Frank Puletua won’t lace on the boots in 2011 despite being a part of the squad when it was announced in last years off season.

Instead Frank will continue to work as Creative Producer at the Casula Powerhouse where he created the No.1 Fan exhibition that is currently showing.

“I’m looking forward to taking on a few new challenges,” Frank said of his retirement.

“I’ve been very fortunate that the transition from football has been an enjoyable one but I’m very indebted to the club, the staff and the players.

“That’s one thing I will miss, going into battle each week with the boys.

“I would like to thank everyone who has been a part of my career, without them it wouldn’t have been possible.”

Penrith Panthers Rugby League CEO Michael Leary said he was impressed Frank’s leadership as a player while at the club.
