Castleford Tigers have confirmed the signing of Greg Eden on a two-year deal from NRL side Brisbane Broncos.

Eden will link up with his new team at the beginning of the 2017 season upon the completion of his contract with the Australian club.

Greg’s looking forward to returning to the UK to join his hometown club: “ Coming back to the UK was a massive decision for me to make, but there’s no better team for me to return home to than Castleford, my home town club and the team I grew up supporting. I’m really looking forward to the new challenge head."

Tigers head coach Daryl Powell is looking forward to developing the full back: “I am delighted to say we have signed Greg Eden for the next two years. His athletic ability is exceptional which is key in order to play at full back in our team. I have been impressed with his development since he went to Australia and I am looking forward to seeing him achieve his rich potential with us over the coming years.”
