Dragons seek compensation

“We are investigating our legal options and we’ll certainly be asking the Player Manager’s Accreditation Scheme through Neil Cadigan to investigate the role of management in this,” Doust said.

Asked if the club would be chasing compensation, Doust said: “I think the ultimate objective would be to get some compensation from parties involved, predominantly Wests Tigers.

“We believe the manager (Martin Tauber) was an integral part of the communication between the Wests Tigers and the Dragons and his obligations under the NRL rules are pretty straightforward.”
