Andrew Ryan
Play on?

It’s decision time for Andrew Ryan

Andrew Ryan has given himself two months to make a call on his future but admits if he plays beyond this season, 2012 will be his last.

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs skipper is excluded from the current NRL salary cap as part of the long-serving player allowance, and is mainly concerned about how his body feels.

“Bobcat”, under contract until the end of this season, will only entertain a UK Super League deal should the Dogs not want him. Coach Kevin Moore is happy to keep Andrew Ryan, whose positive attitude is a bonus for the club, and said Michael Ennis, David Stagg and even Steve Turner were the likely candidates to take over from Ryan when he eventually called it quits.
