St George Illawarra Dragons stalwart Dean Young will retire at the end of the NRL season.
The 28-year-old will confirm at a press conference this morning that he will remain a one-club man, having played 193 games for the Dragons since hitting the NRL scene in 2003.
Young was contracted with the Dragons until the end of 2014, but a troublesome injury to his left knee has forced him to rethink his plans.
Young has been severely hindered by the injury since it first struck him down in 2006, playing only three games the following year and being forced to undergo extensive recovery periods between games ever since.
