Boyd Cordner
One-year extension

Sydney Roosters back rower Boyd Cordner has re-signed with the club for a further season, tying him to the tricolours until the end of 2013.

Cordner, who put the grubber kick through for Anthony Minichiello in the match winning play of their 24-20 victory over South Sydney on Monday, has been with the club since he was 16.

Now 19, the back rower has played 8 first grade games for the Roosters since making his debut in Round 13 last season.

The Old Bar Pirates junior was off contract at the end of the season, however his work ethic on and off the field has impressed the club and in particular his coach Brian Smith and captain Braith Anasta.
