The Newcastle Knights welcome hooker Chris Adams back to the Club for the remainder of the 2016 season.

Adams joined the Knights in 2010 and made his NRL debut in 2012. He played three NRL games before returning to the local Newcastle Rugby League competition.

Most recently Adams has been playing for Lakes United and was also a stand out performer in the recent Senior Country Championships.

“We will always look to give outstanding talent in the Newcastle Rugby League an opportunity to test their talents at a higher level,” Knights coach Nathan Brown said.

“Chris has been in great form with Lakes and we are pleased to give him an opportunity to join our full-time squad and strengthen the depth in our roster.

“We would like to pass on our sincere thanks to Lakes United for releasing Chris for the remainder of the year.”

  1. Good for him, hope he makes the most of the opportunity.

Nice to see a few park footballers get a run this year. Holland from the dogs, Priest from the raiders. Gives hope to us all.
