Scott Prince

Gold Coast Titans coach John Cartwright says Scott Prince will remain a Titan and stay on the Coast, despite fresh claims the club was looking to off-load their skipper.

With a broken arm prematurely ending Prince’s season last week, Cartwright laughed off the claims made in a Sydney newspaper on Sunday, where it was reported the 31-year-old was on the nose of his team-mates and had been secretly offered to rival clubs.

But on a day where the Titans bolstered their 2012 roster by signing speedy Roosters winger Phil Graham to a one-year deal, Cartwright would not be drawn into debate over Prince, other than label the claims untrue.

Losing 12 players from their current roster for next season, Cartwright said the signing of Graham complemented their recent acquisition of Jamal Idris and Beau Champion and help cut one of their big weaknesses out-wide.
