Moses Mbye

He hasn’t played a first-grade game, but Moses Mbye is $350,000 richer after the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs staved off Wayne Bennett’s Newcastle Knights to secure the Queensland young gun.

The Knights had expressed interest in Mbye, but the off-contract 20-year-old stayed loyal, agreeing terms on a two-year upgrade keeping him at Belmore until the end of 2016.

The Courier-Mail understands Mbye stands to earn $150,000 in 2015 and $200,000 the following year, excluding performance bonuses that could further increase his value at the Bulldogs.
