Backrower Jayson Bukuya has extended his stay at the Sharks in signing a new two-year contract with the Cronulla club.

The 27-year-old Bukuya will now remain in the Sutherland Shire until at least the end of the 2018 season, providing a major boost ahead of his teams’ finals run this year.

After six seasons at the Sharks Bukuya left to play for the Warriors in 2014, before returning in 2015, with the recent game against the Gold Coast Titans his 100th for the Club.

The signing of Bukuya continues the Sharks efforts in retaining their playing talent for 2017 and beyond.
