Penrith utility Lewis Brown has been told he’s free to look around for next season, with the ex-Kiwi international guaranteed to prove an extremely versatile pick-up.
“I’ve spoken to a few clubs and I’m hoping to have something sorted by next week. I probably won’t be able to stay at Penrith, they’ve got a little bit of salary cap pressure. It’s a bit disappointing, I love the club but hopefully I can try and make a contribution towards leaving them in a better position than when I arrived.”
The club we’ve heard Brown’s name linked to over the last couple of weeks is the Manly Sea Eagles.
