Mitch Garbutt

Broncos prop Mitch Garbutt could leave Brisbane within a month as he weighs up interest from Parramatta and Manly.

Brisbane has granted Garbutt permission to sign with another club because he’s unlikely to crack first grade with the Broncos.

It is understood Brisbane have no issue with Garbutt but feel there is little point in stockpiling players who would be more likely to get a regular NRL run at another club.

If Garbutt can find a new NRL club before June 30 he will be allowed to leave but if not he could sign for a Super League club at season’s end.
