Coach Anthony Griffin this morning confirmed the inking of a deal that will bring the 122kg front rower to Red Hill for the 2014, 2015 and 2016 seasons.
Kennedy has already played in a grand final with the Roosters and came off the bench in the Roosters’ stunning victory over the Rabbitohs that snatched the minor premiership last Friday.
He has played 65 NRL games, including 15 this season, a year when injury has hampered his game time.
Griffin said Kennedy would be a great acquisition for the club.
“He’s a big boy, he’s a 120-odd kilo, and his best football is in front of him because he is only 24 years old,” said Griffin.
“We are really looking forward to him coming and adding to the pack we have got.”
