The Brisbane Broncos say they have no plans to look outside their current roster, despite reports linking them to Manly Sea Eagles forward Darcy Lussick and Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs halfback Kris Keating.
Broncos general manager of football operations Andrew Gee said yesterday he was mystified by speculation Lussick and Keating were in the Broncos’ sights.
“Hook (coach Anthony Griffin) and I had a bit of a chuckle about it, actually,” Gee said. “We have said all along our focus is on keeping what we have.”
Lussick, 22, played for Sunshine Coast Sea Eagles in 2010, which at that time was Manly’s affiliate club. He has played nine games for Manly.
Keating, 23, has been playing NSW Cup for Canterbury, but has 62 NRL games to his credit.
