Ex-Bulldog Brent Sherwin could be eyeing a return to the NRL in 2011.
According to his manager, the 32-year-old is waiting to see the outcome of Matt Orford’s deal to return to the NRL with his manager to pursue the unlucky club.
Sherwin has not played in the NRL since 2007 when he left to play for the Castleford Tigers. The play maker later joined French based Catalans Dragons for the remainder of season 2010.
Sherwin has since been left on the outer since newly appointed coach Trent Robinson opted to reunite with fellow former Newcastle Knight Scott Dureau where he was an assistant to Brian Smith.
The three-time City Origin representative was linked to the Parramatta Eels earlier this year however they were just minor talks.
