The news comes on the back of a stellar first season in the national capital that has seen him lead the try-scoring list with 12 four-pointers in 19 appearances.
“I’m looking to stay until the end of 2014,” Ferguson said.
“I’m very happy here and have a good relationship with the coach and the players.”
Ferguson is adamant the move from the Cronulla Sharks has suited him and that he has no regrets about leaving at the end of the 2010 season.
“I definitely have no regrets – as you can see I’ve grown as a footy player and as a person in general, so I’m pretty happy to be where I am at the moment.”
