Roy Asotasi
Super League clubs interested

With Anthony Tupou staying at the Cronulla Sharks, the club has dropped off the chase for veteran South Sydney Rabbitohs forward Roy Asotasi.

The Rabbitohs co-captain was considering retirement but is being chased by three English clubs and will find the lure of the pound hard to resist. While past his dynamic best, Asotasi remains a solid performer and is an outstanding role model off the field.

Ironically, Tupou was poised to take a big offer from British club Warrington Wolves before getting a reduced offer to remain at the Sharks. Previously one of the club’s highest paid players, he has taken a sizeable pay cut in signing his new deal.
