After playing 24 games this season, Titans backrower Zeb Taia is hoping to stick around on the Gold Coast for a few more years.

Taia is off contract at the end of 2017 but the Titans hold an option in their favour and Taia is hoping they exercise it.

Speaking to the Gold Coast Bulletin, Taia confirmed his desire to stay with the Gold Coast club.

“Definitely I want to stay here, I love the Gold Coast, my family love it,’’ said Taia.

“It’s really up to what happens during the season.

“I’ve definitely got another two years in me, that’s for sure.

“I’m definitely working hard to play for that extension. It’s in their favour, so hopefully it gets activated but I can only concentrate on what I do on the field and hopefully things work out.’’
