16. Newcastle Knights: Daniel Saifiti

The Fijian international and NRL rookie scored on his debut and never looked back for the Knights.

25 tackles and 116 metres per game (generally off the bench) saw the 20-year-old finish the season as one of the very few shining lights for the Knights in 2016.
