5. Ben Hannant

The 31-year-old rugby league veteran is out of contract at the end of the season, and his future at North Queensland is still up in the air.

Hannant chances of remaining in Townsville received a boost when James Tamou announced his decision to leave the club in June, but Hannant still hasn't put pen to paper to keep him at the Cowboys.

The two-time premiership player still has a lot to offer and will be targeted by clubs looking for a veteran forward presence, and next season will be Hannant's  13th in the NRL.
