Gold Coast prop David Hala has been released by the Titans for the remainder of the 2016 season, by mutual consent.

The 26-year-old, who unfortunately battled injury in his time here since joining for the 2015 season, became the 100th Titans’ NRL representative when he made his club debut against Melbourne last season.

It was one of only two games for the club but ‘Papa’ was a popular member of our squad and put big effort into many games with feeder team Burleigh Bears and his training.

He said today:

“First and foremost thank you to the Titans and Burleigh Bears for the last two seasons.

“Thank you to the fans and especially the players for all your support.

“I am grateful to have met all the people I have through the Gold Coast Titans and I wish nothing but the best for the club and all the players, mates, doko, usos and churs.”
