Forward for sale
Hull KR have expressed their desire to offload Scott Taylor with the forward’s ongoing refusal to discuss a contract extension.
The 21-year-old prop, who featured for England against the Exiles this summer, has 12 months left on his current deal and has been linked with a move to the Wigan Warriors and neighbours Hull FC.
Chairman Neil Hudgell told the Hull Daily Mail: “We have done all we can to try and tie Scott down longer term, with vastly-improved terms being offered.
“He refuses to negotiate at all, which is a very strong indicator to me that he doesn’t want to be here any more.”

If he’s as good as he thinks he is he should try his hand at the NRL, good young props are as rare as Rocking Horse Poo and there have been a few Pomgolians who have stood out in the NRL recently, don’t die wondering!.
Come to the NRL ! You never know !!
This is quite a strange one. At Rovers now it seems we’re reeling everything in in terms of player wages. We’ve released some high earners (Jake Webster was on upwards of £100k and we couldn’t get a full season out of him).
I think the wage structure has been amended and what Rovers offered wasn’t as much as Taylor (and his agent) would have liked.
As Rovers fans we are going to find that happening quite a lot. Our financial issues are well documented and I think this is a symptom of the problem.
