Canberra Raiders assistant Justin Morgan is shaping as one of the favourites to take over the head coaching role at the Warriors next year and will travel to New Zealand within the next week for an interview.
The Warriors originally contacted Morgan by phone to gauge his interest but, now Canberra’s season is complete, he has been invited to Auckland for a face-to-face interview.

New Zealand Test coach Stephen Kearney, former Kiwi international David Kidwell and departing Bradford Bulls coach Mick Potter have also been linked to the role. Australian coach Tim Sheens has also been mentioned in media reports, but he looks likely to remain at Wests Tigers.
