Braith Anasta believes the Roosters halfback Mitchell Pearce will never get another chance to wear the sky blue jersey for NSW.

Speaking on Sterlo, Anasta believes that Pearce's Origin career is over despite him still having plenty to offer.

“With the form he showed against the Bulldogs I’d be happy for him to be there but if were looking towards the future, I think a lot of people wouldn’t agree with that,” Anasta said.

“I think he can (be part of their future) but I’m talking about the majority.

“He’s a mate of mine and I think he’s in amazing form but I think they’ve put a line through him unfortunately.

“I don’t think we’ll see him again playing for NSW.”
