Tuqiri wants two-year deal
Lote Tuqiri’s desire for a two-year deal appears to be the only sticking point in the dual international extending his stay with Wests Tigers into the 2013 NRL season.
Tuqiri has returned from a family holiday keen to step up talks on a new contract with the Tigers – the 32-year-old winger confident he still has plenty to offer despite his recent injury struggles.
While the Tigers are yet to sort out a coach for 2013 – with Manly assistant Matt Parish still the front-runner to succeed Tim Sheens – Tuqiri’s manager Giancarlo Lombardo said he expected the powerful winger to be part of the set-up next season.
The Tigers trepidation in offering a two-year deal is understandable given Tuqiri’s injury struggles over the past two seasons.

I think their nuts. In his heyday Tuquiri would be first pick but he no longer is. The club got rid of Ryan who was our best back and still a really good winger to resign a broken down Tuquiri….seriously this club has some serious player retention problems.
If they resign him I am done with this crap not renewing my membership.

HA HA. It is well known for the last 2 weeks that he has agreed to terms with the Tigers, and it will be announced after the Test match. The only signing St George will make is Tim Sheens replacing Price.

As I’ve said before if it happens, it happens. If it does happen, I am sure that Clearly and Gus will have a plan in place so that the Panthers will be in a better position.

If the Tigers were to sign Michael, then why wait until after the test match? That is quite strange, considering that Tim Sheens is no longer the coach and Michael isn’t playing in that game.
Since when were the Tigers signing Jennings? I haven’t heard anything about it. Is it serious?

I highly doubt it, I really do. It seems to me that every week Michael is being linked to every Sydney club the only difference is the clubs name.
Don’t worry about a coach tigers just give it to Farah captain & coach and get Jennings
