The Cronulla Sharks today received a massive boost ahead of their Monday night clash with the signature of boom youngster Stewart Mills on an extended two-year deal.

After securing the services of young half Albert Kelly last week, the Sharks have continued to wrap up their young guns, with Mills signing on until at least the end of 2013.
The Yarrawarrah Tigers junior, who made his first grade debut against the Roosters last Sunday, never seriously considered leaving the Sharks despite other clubs interested in his services.
“I’m a local junior through and through and have grown up supporting the Sharks,” Mills said.

“I’ve always wanted to pull on the black, white and blue, and I had my chance last week… it was a massive honour for me and now I want more of a taste.”
Coach Shane Flanagan was very happy with his latest re-signing and admits he’s also looking forward to seeing Mills develop.
“Stewart is a dynamic outside back and I think we all saw what he is capable of last weekend,” Flanagan said.
“He still might only be young, but he’s solid, fast, athletic and can certainly leap for the high ball.”
