Hull FC keen to sign Prince
Gold Coast Titans captain Scott Prince could be England-bound, with Super League side Hull FC confirming they are in negotiations with him for next season.
There have been persistent rumours in the English media that Prince is headed to Hull.
The club’s director of rugby Shaun McRae yesterday said negotiations with Prince were delicately poised.
The Titans declined to comment last night and said they would clarify their position on the issue today.
McRae said they were confident of snaring either Prince or Wests Tigers youngster Jacob Miller.
“McRae refused to distance himself from rumours linking the club with former Australian international Scott Prince and Wests Tigers playmaker Jacob Miller for next season,” the Hull club said on its website.
Prince is signed to the Titans until the end of 2014.

geeeyy
yes you are
hahaahah nice name
Get rid of him, he’s a great play but the most inconsistent player in the NRL. We need someone of his caliber with some god damn consistency!
Prince would be a loss to the team if he left but with Albert Kelly and Parker Walshe waiting in the wings, the loss of Prince isnt as big. We need a future halves combination to grow and i think Kelly and Sezer are the future. Times up Prince and we salute what you have given to the team. Good luck to your future.
@The Sickest
Has Michael Parker Walshe signed with the Titans?
Nah not yet but he is bound to sign with the Titans. Carty has his eyes on him.
Prince has been a terrific player. Very dangerous when attacking your line. He has performed consistently year in year out. He has stood the test of time. Unlike the muppet Jamie Coward. That’s who should head overseas. Most overrated player ever.
Was very good for the titans but his best days are over, he is making the move at the right time.
there was a stage in his career with the titans, where he was playing better than thurston and was seriously in the mix for origin and test spot. Though since then he has had consistent collar bone and arm injuries and much of his creativity and try assists have dropped. Great player and one of my favorites to watch, all the best to him
So much promise yet showed very little, wouldn’t say overrated but very average..!
Who said he was overrated?
Titans really do need an actual ball player, prince now is just a distributor and offers nothing else.I would hate to see the Titans pin hope on A Kelly & then see him punted for throwing a chair through the window of sin city .
Strong rumour is he is going to the Dragons!!!
I would be happy if we signed him. He is a classic style of half who can guide the team around the padock, he has a good kicking game and he would compliment Kyle Stanley playing 5/8.
He Can’t and doesn’t like to tackle!! This site is in honor of Scott Prince “Zero Tackle”.
No Jamie Coward is Zero Tackle.
Seriously wtf everybody linked to dragons now??? Its ridulous now
There was talk at the end of last year that the Gold Coast wanted to offload Prince.
It is basically every half, half-5/8 that is linked to us. Then throw in Jennings.
If I was in charge of Saints two players I would target who are actually off contract next year at the end of next year are Josh Papali and Frank Paul Nualasala. They would add toughness to us. I think Frank Paul is a rough dimond who needs a bit of polish and Papali will make a top second rower in years to come. I would be making sure DeBelin, Merrin, Rein and Morris are signed up long term too.
come back to where u had a premiership with the tigers mate we need a proper halfbalk anyways
He still has it in him. Ive watched him throughout the whole year and there were times where he showed glimpses of his 2010 form. But i think a change for him is needed. Carty cant coach the halves so thats why Prince cant play his best footy. He needs a coach who can reinvigorate him because he is one of the few proper playmaking halfbacks left in the NRL. I think if Hasler coached him he would be knocking on Thurstons/Cronks door in Origin.
Age has got to him but he can still deliver his best footy this season and the next season. But i think its best for the Titans if he leaves simply because a young spine needs to be blooded asap. Titans dont have anyone to develop Sezer so he pretty much needs to self teach himself week in and week out. If Albert Kelly and Sezer start playing alongside each other right now then it gives them a lot of time to gel with each other in the halves (which would be beneficial for the future)
Titans need to look to the future so i wish Prince the best of luck. I would much rather him move to a club with a good coach and play his best footy there rather than getting stuck with Clueless Carty at the Titans and getting no help. As i said he has a lot more left in the tank. I will certainly miss him.
He’s goooooooooooooone to hull he got ok earlier today good luck to him his done it all here in OZ .premiership check Queensland check Australia check so that makes him more successful than more than half the nrl players today so I take my hat of to you Scott prince for great career so far & possibly more with hull.

Come to penrith, I would rather have him than walsh.
I hope we sign Miller.Wouldn’t be surprised if it happened though because of phil gould’s love for youngsters….Wow that sounded really wrong.
scott prince could be a much better player than thursto, soward and benji next year should he remain with titans given the best foward pack ever for the titans…..kelly and others cannot make it like princy..titan is a weak team but prince managed..
