Two-year deal
Powerful front-rower and fan favourite George Rose has re-signed with Manly Sea Eagles for a further two seasons.
The 28-year-old, who debuted for the Sea Eagles in 2006, will stay on with the club until at least the end of the 2013 season.
“Gorgeous George” says he’s glad he can carry on his long relationship with the club.
“It’s pretty much a home for me, Manly, and it’s the place that I always wanted to stay, even before we won the grand final.
“It’s just a good bunch of players, great staff and a club that I really enjoy.”
Rose says he looks forward to defending Manly’s NRL Premiership title under new head coach Geoff Toovey.

Did he extend his contract with KFC?
Good re-signing, he did well this past year. Manly have lost a couple of wingers in Robertson and Hopoate and have not recruited for that, but assuming they have the juniors to fill those positions they look to be still a formidable force – barring of course injury. Still, go the Tigers and hopefully we can get them in round two.
with the wingers we have wolfman, oldfeild and ben farrar which was there a few years ago and was filling in at fullback.plus dean whare center/winger.
