Perrett signs with Dogs until 2015
Sam Perrett has finally been granted a release to join the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs immediately.
The Sydney Roosters issued a statement to announce they had reluctantly agreed to grant the New Zealand winger an immediate release, despite desperately hoping Perrett would reconsider his decision to part ways with the Bondi club early.
Perrett has now signed with the Bulldogs on a deal that will keep him at Belmore until the end of 2015.
The 27-year-old met with Roosters chief executive Steve Noyce yesterday morning, where the club urged him to reconsider his decision to leave in the middle of the 2012 premiership.
However, with Perrett not in their future plans beyond this season, the club eventually agreed to release him from the remainder of his contract with the club.

First of all the Roosters have never been caught rorting the Bulldogs did in 2002 but they came back and unfortuneately beat Easts in 04 something you Tigers cant do and fluked 05. The Tigers were also given breach notices of 140k in 2010 along with Penriff and eels. Developing your own juniors I think that Bulldogs were one of the best at that and now its Storm Broncos. I know that most of Dogs squad is not bred now and poached and it frusttrates me when people say we cant develop our own juniors when most of our current roster is bred but Dogs have many bred players lost to other lcubs same goes for us Soward, Tamou, Shillo, ayshford, Hannant were Roosters so deont tell us we cant develop our own take in mind we have the smallest catchment area in the comp. Even though dogs poached look where they are now 2nd.

Just to join the convo on average no club is better at breeding its own than the dragons & broncos and even before the merge. It also depends what you classify as a junior because 85% of melbournes team are from QLD cup. Soward was originally a canberra junior.
