Could be Warriors next coach
Canberra Raiders assistant Justin Morgan is shaping as one of the favourites to take over the head coaching role at the Warriors next year and will travel to New Zealand within the next week for an interview.
The Warriors originally contacted Morgan by phone to gauge his interest but, now Canberra’s season is complete, he has been invited to Auckland for a face-to-face interview.
New Zealand Test coach Stephen Kearney, former Kiwi international David Kidwell and departing Bradford Bulls coach Mick Potter have also been linked to the role. Australian coach Tim Sheens has also been mentioned in media reports, but he looks likely to remain at Wests Tigers.

@ josh we need a coach who can teach our boys some structure and how to tackle, not Sheens
Mick potter would be perfect for the warriors.
I’d like to see Nathan Brown coaching the Warriors. Watching him slapping those big Warrior forwards across the face would be priceless.
DR. DRAGON, I PAY THAT CALL.
Well said Dr
The Warriors need someone to nurture all these young kids coming through. I don’t know how much experience Morgs has at that. We didn’t really see many young kids coming through when he was at Rovers but his job was survival, consolidation and then to build.
