Off contract Poore could sign with Knights
Parramatta Eels prop Justin Poore could be headed to the Newcastle Knights as incoming coach Ricky Stuart starts shaping Parramatta’s playing roster for 2013.
Poore, who played three games for NSW in 2009, comes off contract at the end of the season. Apart from the Knights, The Sun-Herald understands he has received at least one offer to play in the English Super League.
When Poore was signed from the St George Illawarra Dragons in 2010, the year after the Eels were defeated by Melbourne in the grand final, he was described as the calibre of player Parramatta needed to go the extra step to win the premiership.
However, despite being signed to a three-year deal that was reported at the time to be worth close to $1 million, his stint at the Eels has been indifferent with a series of injuries stifling his impact.

Its not a hard choice join in the Knights and wayne bennett and join a future heavy weight team or join sticky and the eels and try to avoid a spoon through another painful team rebuild for which after you will be release for cap space. Not hard

two weeks ago six souths juniors scored all souths points against the tigers there’s six junior players in our team for starters,anyway as the saying goes- forever in our shadow.

souths is one of the only few teams with juniors. there wouldnt be many more teams with more then 6 juniors besides maybe brisbane.

Uate played in our lower grades straight from his homeland and Tetavano came here at 16 ………11 of the 17 pretty good i’d say .All local juniors .

Justin Poore got greedy at the end of 2009 and wanted more money. He already had the starting spot locked down in a pretty good Dragons pack, and wanted to piss off for more money. Turned out to be rubbish and he will be absolutely kicking himself knowing he missed out on a premiership with the Dragons. I think his best years are behind him
Who wouldn’t chase the money! Most league players don’t have long careers. Parra offered good money, for a good player at the time of signing. Its just a shame he spent most of his first season and last season out with a knee injury. He is playing well now.

Yeah.but McKinnon snowden mason never played first grade and only came with the coach or for the coach. Btw, how many players did you sign last year+this year.
