Deal extended until the end of 2015
Anthony Griffin has been awarded for the stellar start to his NRL coaching career with a contract extension from the Brisbane Broncos.
The Broncos today announced that Griffin’s tenure had been extended for another two years to include the 2014 and 2015 seasons.
He had already been contracted until the end of next year.
Griffin began his tenure at the Broncos as NYC coach in 2008, the first year of the under-20 competition, taking them to the grand final.
He made the preliminary final the next year with that squad before becoming assistant coach of the NRL team in 2010.
Griffin took over the NRL head-coaching role in February last year and led the Broncos to the preliminary final, losing to eventual premiers Manly. He has amassed a 31-13 win-loss record in that time.

doing a good job anthony <3
While thry are resigning people, why not make a big buy in Kris Keating, because Anthony you see Peter Wallace has got to go. He is past his best and he lost Broncos the game against the Titans and he is lucky not to have stuffed the games the last couple of weeks aginst the Warriors etc. He relied to heavily on D Lockyer. So plese do the fans, the club and one of your biggest supporters a favour and buy a half decsent (or great) half back for the club, because we no longer want Peter Wallace. Please listen.
